So this sucks...

My dad has had these ongoing problems with his right arm going numb for a minute or so, sometimes longer, headaches and other B.S. He's gone to the hospital what seems like a million times and no real awnser other than carpel tunnel syndrome. Well he went back Saturday night and they figured it out. They found brain tumors they said. They have been causing T.I.A.'s or "mini strokes". He's getting more test today and meeting with a nerologist but from I've read up on its not very good odds. My fiancees boss just died from the same thing, he lived for 2 months after diagnosis.

Personally I'm kinda indiffrent about it but I feel real bad for my mom. My dad was a pretty bad dad to me. He was pretty rough on me as a kid to say the least and has stolen from me as an adult, but he is my father so I still love him, just dont like him. My mom works but is totally dependent on him to manage money and pay bills and just everyday life activities. Shes taking the news very bad. I have a 14 y/o brother that lives with them and I think if something happens to my dad they will both move down here with me eventually. Right now my mom has been taking care of my great grandmother who is 93 so she cant leave her but shes not been doing too well lately either.

I beleive in KARMA and that only as much as you can handle will be thrown at you but this is bad for my mom. She lost her mother about 4 years ago and got real bad. Both my parents are alcoholics but my mom stopped drinking about 2 years ago and I just hope with all this she doesn't start drinking again.

Well I guess I'm done rambling now........

My aunt had a few brain tumors over the past 2 yrs. She is around 49.
She was diagnosed, and my grandparents (her parents) took it pretty bad. At the same time my Grandfather was being diagnosed with Non-hodgkins Lymphoma disease.
We all took it pretty hard, and seeing as they live over 300 miles away, we werent out there a lot to see them. The whole family took one to the gut, but they all lived it out.
My aunt has had many Chemotheropy treatments, and her health was deteriorating. They didn't get all of the tumor out, it was wrapped around her optical nerve. She has since gotten better, to the point of eating with us during sunday dinners when we were out there.
A few months ago, she was having bad spinal nerve pains. They found out her brain tumor traveled down her spine and was now embedded in that.
They have taken some out, but a lot still lays within her. She has a top brain surgon on her side, and is over in europe telling her case to other top surgons, to see what road to take.

I can only hope for the best for your father, mother, grandmother, your brother, and you.
