I only say those things because I've driven a 200k mile honda, a mercury sable with a bad engine, trans and body mounts and a beat up old chevy truck. The main reason everyone has a vehicle is to go from one place to another. Yes I can now afford a better vehicle than those but at the end of the day it's a peiece of metal with some bolts. I'm not going to lose any sleep if something happens to it because the most important thing is my own personal well being which includes a roof over my head. Everyone's perspective is diffrent, for me it's all about survial right now.

Note: I will lose sleep over the loss of my car only because it's my transportation to go to work and school so without it I'm up ****'s creek. I won't lose sleep because it's a camaro only because it's my main mode of transportation.

I'm just giving you crap. I had to get rid of my bird for something more reliable/practical.

I've driven beaters and I've driven nice cars and I agree that priority number one is having a mode of transportation. It is nice if you can have a car that is fun and means something to you.

            I can appreciate your views.

Mine is about the love of Camaro, I must say. I own a video production company and have a 2 year old and an 8 month old. The Camaro is probably one of the worst cars I could have purchased, but I wouldn't think of trading it. I have no room to haul gear and the only way both car seat fit in there is if I eat the steering wheel.

Actually, I rented a Chevy Uplander for the family vacation in April. I never thought I would use the the words nice and minivan in the same sentence, but I must admit, the space was convenient. But it's still not the Camaro, damn my eyes!

I drive by the ferrari dealership on my way home every night, it's both motivating and depressing at the same time. Believe me it is in my plans to own a lot of cars that are considered art not just a piece of metal.

LOL... too funny, so do I. Well, not everyday, but I have a client I frequent that causes me to pass the dealership. I know exactly what you mean. Looking at those cars and seeing people driving them in and out almost turns me into a fit of playahation.

I don't know what it's like down in Sanford, but up here it is seriously depressing. I see Bentleys, Ferraris, and other exotics all the time. I went to my friend's Boss's house to grab something and the cheapest car we saw in the neighborhood was a 2004 M3. I just wanted to hangout and follow around one of the DB9s all day.

Not so much in Sanford but as you head farther south towards the higher ends of Orlando they are all over the place. I was on one of the toll roads going to school and had a bright green lambo showing off. He flew up next to me looked over dropped 2 gears and left me sitting there. Damn rich people.

I live in a small town called STANFORD, ky, and bout the nicest thing you see round here are newer corvettes, camaros, mustangs, and an occasional ricer that looks okay but you still want to find it out and race it lol. old cars around here are big, fixed up 60s models mustangs, camaros, corvettes, 50 model chevy cars and trucks anything old and custom.
