today i talked to a guy that swears up and down that he raced a guy with an 09 Camaro. now i am pretty sure he is lying as i work for a dealer and harass the sales people about the availability of these cars all the time and we got nothing, so i called him out on it and and he says the car is from the town i live in so i just walked away.
has anybody actually seen one of these car driving or am i right and they just do not exist yet?

no way. the silver coupe and the orange 'vert are the ONLY two made. The yellow coupe (for transformers) is a body on a GTO frame. And he can swear up and down that he might've raced one of those, but he should also know that they're limited at 40 mph and have extensive duct-tape usage, so beating one wouldn't require much...
there might be some prototypes made that MIGHT be driving around the proving grounds but they'd be around here and they wouldn't leave GM property end of story.
