I'm going to Florida Tech in PalmBay/Melbourne area. When I refer to rice, I don't mean Civics in general, I mean kids who put the huge *** pipe on their civics and throw a Sony system in the hatch and think they're big and bad. I've got nothing against malibu's, but when you make it a ricer, then you've got issues (fart cannon, huge wing, altezza tails, unnecessary stickers and such). While I was grabbing my books out of the car this morning, one girl yelled at me. Turns out she liked my car and has a 95 3.8 and a 95 'vert LT1 at home. Thought it was pretty kewl, but would have been alot nicer if she was abit more attractive :P. I've noticed 3 other Camaros (2 Z's, 1 6er), and 2 birds and 1 TA in the parking lots. As for staying home, I'm staying this year to help me get used to the college scene. Next year I may be moving out, if my grades are OK and such. ATM, I just give a friend a call and he lets me into his dorm, so I got a place to chill during the day, and could even stay the night if I wanted.

if you're doing it right, you shouldn't have to stay in any dude's room at night... this is welcome week man! Girls are like ready to explode! all the worries they had back in high school are dissolved, they're livin on their own now... these next few weeks are your ticket to pickin up some girlies :naughty:

yeah, my car is one of the only fbodies on my campus... there was an LT1 style v6 bird, and a crappy turd gen camaro... never saw who was driving either. neither were modified... both were rusty POS's
2 mustangs (neither of them were modified at all)
and 1 WRX that liked driving past me and letting me hear the BOV.

enjoy college! im going into my sophmore year... its fun!

i just got to college also, im a freshman at Purdue. my Bird is back at home though...freshman cant get on-campus parking passes...sigh...

I had like 10 dates in my first week or so of school.... and I am ugly.

we have parking but have to walk like 20 minutes unless you have enough credits for dorm parking (kinda lottery like)

we have to pay 208 dollars for a pass :(

wow that is a lot...ours are free, just freshies cant have them. i like the thought of my car chillin out in a garage under a cover with a fresh layer of wax on her, not gainin any miles, not in the sun or rain for almost a whole year. but i think id pay 200 dollars to be able to bring her up here. im too attached to my car :D

well I live in an apartment and I'm not gettin up an hour earlier to catch the nasty *** bus... :) and since I've got some hours under my belt I can park right up close to campus... but it sucks for those freshman who have to pay the same as me.

yeah, ours is 175.

i went and looked at GW (in DC) and it was something absurd, like 3k a year...

DHiser, theres some kid who goes to purdue on one of the other fbody forums i use. he drives a blue LT1 formula.
