I'm not a fan of buying new tires :(

Last burnout I did was probably 3 years ago. I should have done a vid before I put the new wheels on.

you mean dump the clutch? it means to rev up your rpm's with the clutch pedal pushed completely in, and then just letting off all at once to transfer all that power immediately. obviously, its not good on the clutch system, but thats what you do to rip the tires, or when launching on a race.

if you drive a manual, and want to try this out and learn how to do it without owning your clutch, then id advise taking a dealer car on a test drive, like a cavalier or something like that with an M5. thats what i did :D

by the way nice car, but man when you make a video take out that music...i want to hear the car! it sounds awesome, let us hear it!
Well normally I'd agree with ya on that one, but a 4 minute video mighta been a bit much with only a V6 singin along.

I could upload the individual clips, or see if I still have the build file so I can go back and pull the music, then upload that version. But either way, thanks.

Its called a line lock. And break tourqes are easier. You dont have to worry about the low rmps in an ls1 because it does not take much to spin the tires.

Line locks are for drag racing. Not for somebody who does a couple burnouts a year. But yeah, you're right, it's alot easier doin a burnout in an LS1 car since they have gobs of torque. But like most people on here, I don't have an LS1, still, it doesn't struggle much when I do one.
