Hey Dave, what kind of tires do you run on that car? Was the road wet? You using hard radials?

wow david, sorry to hear all this. glad you and your friend are OK, get that neck checked out, im sure it hurts more today than it did before.

usually id tell you fix it, like last time. but now, honestly, you might be better off just letting it go. hood, 3 fenders, bumper, maybe bumper support rad, rad support, headlight brackets, headlights? turn signals? and time on the frame machine isnt going to be cheap, then add in paint.

get pics of the scene ASAP, most definatly concact a lawyer, measure how far you drove before lost control, measure the skid marks, ect go nuts with it.

ive hit my brake as hard as i could on a wet road at 40-45 and anti-lock break system only kicked on for a second at the end. i dont really understand how you skidded at 35 on a dry road, but regardlesss, take care and good luck bud.

Those are the dirt cheap BFGs right? did they feel like they gripped ok? I almost got a pair... I hear they are cheap but more expensive and better then the Kuhmo 712s, hankocks, Fuzion Zrs, etc....

          Sorry to hear about it...

Crazy though, going from 35, to tweaking the frame.

I hit a tree at 35, in my 3rd gen (speeding, and old lady related) hit the tree, did a 180, wiped out the tree, only did $280 worth of body damage.

Those tires are better suited for low horsepower compact cars. Not a supercharged sports car. I run BFG GForce also. But I run KD's on the 96' and KDW NT's on the convertible. They both stick like glue and it's hard for me to even spin the tires, they grip so well. I had the 96' out tonight doing full throttle runs, in 60 degree temps, blower only, and never lost grip once.
