2008 Viper vs. 2007 Z06 Vette

600hp Viper against a 505 Vette.

Eventhough the Vette lost by a hair line it still amazes me that it can keep up with a 10 cyl. 600hp.

the damn thing weighs less than our cars and its got a ginormous 7.0L engine w/ dry sump lubrication among a ton of other goodies... they're impressive to say the least.

for the price difference I'd take the vette and spank the viper even more. But I'd still rather have the viper since its more uncommon around here. I see vettes every day

The price difference isn't that much anyhow, when you consider you are already spending 70K+ on a car, might as well get something semi-exotic and hand built.

I would rather have the vette. Yes, most people won't be able to tell the difference between seeing a C6 and a C6 Z06, but I really don't care what others think about my car. If you are just looking for something flashy for you money why not get a Ferrari 308.
