The ownership does. Pro ball aint supposed to be fun, and Mara wants to get to business. Now Strahan, thats another deal...
Eli is only bruised, and comes from good stock. I'm old, and remember his dad getting killed with the Saints but kept truckin. And he wasnt no pretty boy either.
I wonder if Eli will become the best QB in the NFL on another team, after his Bro and Brady are old. Before he got hurt, I saw Eli throw a screen while runnin for his life that was so accurate from a bad angle, I thought I was watching Archie!
I'm a Bolthead, and maybe Rivers is what NYG thought they were getting (oh wait, thats how we got him!)...
I agree, I think Eli needs another team to really be great. I also think he has a few years left to mature before he will be great, if he every does become great.

The potential for greatness is there, most of the players just slack off when the ball is in their hands
it will never matter what eli does, he will always just be Peyton mannings brother. he'll be an average quaterback his whole career maybe even good. but he'll never be great.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

Lol..Giants score 35 points, Eli plays like a pro-bowler and he still gets the blame for the loss.
Im a Cowboys fan through and through but the Giants lost b/c of their defense.
Their offense looked pretty good to me.
he looked like a pro bowler because the cowboys' best DB was out. and the dallas D didnt play that well. so it had less to do with looking good as it did with Dallas' pass defense looking really bad.

Yeah but Dallas has problems in the secondary year in and year out. Its bad enough that Roy Williams cant cover AIR -- but they lose Terrance Newman.
Eh, they did manage to get Pat Watkins in the offseason but we are still going to get beat deep until Roy Williams is gone...or converted into a linebacker.
eh, you just proved my point though, dallas even at full strength isnt that strong in the secondary. hence why manning could bomb it to plexi-glass burress all day and rack up stats.
let me see him do that against a team like denver or chicago.
