  • 3.8 is slow

    98 camaro auto,
why when i go head to head with another 3.8 it kills me? my car has a full tune up too! NO check motor light ever.... i dont get it.

at my local drag strip i got a 17.30 in a 1/4 mile!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

this thing feels like a four banger. theres NO hesitation and it eventually gets to 118 mph . but it takes like an hour and a half lol.

Maybe it's the driver. What was your RT, 60 and 1/8?

wow 17.3 is slowwww but again you gotta realize our cars are OLD and they get beat on all the time. I have never seen my car as a fast car. I always thought it's a sleek looking daily driver coupe that gets very good gas mileage. Z28 can fix this problem ;)

yeah, but when i had 70k on the beotch i ran a 15.3 completely stock. something is screwed up fer sure. you dont lose 2 seconds off a 1/4 mile like that.

******* i know! try a vacuum test!!!! you could find out if you have any exhaust restrictions. A busted cat would completely explain that, especially cuz it doesnt usually throw codes.*******
