was yours the ignition key? i thought if you lost the ignition key you had to get a whole new ignition because of that chip on it. maybe im just retarded?
the chip is just a resistor just makes it harder to to copy the key. dont repalce the ign because you lost the keys then you will never be able to make one of the vin again. the ign key is like $36 and the door key is $3. I know we have a fee to make it off the vin $35, but not all dealers charge this. If you buy the same key for a cadillac the key is $26 only diffrence is the caddy key has a caddy emblem.
