When I was in VA a co-worker had a 3.8 and he never even had a chance, dig, slow roll, cruising. I smashed him everytime, just to the posted speed limit though :naughty: , street racing is bad :spank:
alright well seeing as you guys on here are the only people i can talk to that know anything about camaros/firebirds, you can help me out with the rest of my problems
1. if i got like a 94 camaro with a 3.4 in it, what would that be like compared to my v6 mustang?
2. I want to get a stick. Ive only driven one a couple times so I know how but I cant do it good enough to drive a customers car at work and I dont really have access to one so I figure what better way to learn than to buy one. The only ones around detroit Ive found that I can afford are v6. now, Im an 18 year old kid and obviously I want to drive something fast. I found a nice v8 one around here that I can afford thats an automatic. so now Im torn and I cant decide if I should just look for a stick or suck it up and buy the auto.
I know its prolly more of a preference thing, but any kind of help is needed
get a 3.8 fbody. its a better motor to start out with. the 3.4 is alright, but theyre only 160hp. so you wont notice much difference between your stang and a 3.4 really (although the 3.4 would still smash your current car) the aftermarket is pretty good for the 3.8 also. look around for 96 and up's. you can find some pretty damn good deals on them now.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
