i'm not worried about it. i still have to pay where we live. so it's not like it's going to be a shock. i'm just greatful that we're able to do what we do. once the kids start coming is when the cars are going to have to get cut back a LITTLE bit lol.
houses cost a lot more then renting. Repairs, taxes, etc. get expensive quickly. Babies are expensive (diapers - holy crap). I don't know about your situation, but daycare is expensive as hell too. Between the house AND kids, car budgets get cut pretty badly.
those times are and un-tuned nitrous car. on street tires lol. pretty good times.
we don't even have the newest engine in it yet. still building.
yes that is a cobra bumper. since everything else was being done, changed the bumper so you could see the husky inter cooler better. also deleted the spolier. much cleaner look.
Hope you find a nice house. If not build one. Building ours was cheaper than buying one. Only advice I can give is to keep at least $10-15 grand in the bank just in case something goes wrong. If the furnace or well (if you live it the sticks like me) craps out, you need to have it fixed asap. Its better to be prepared. Wish I still had a car budget. I'm lucky if I can buy a $15Camaro emblem for my 69 camaro without my wife yelling at me.

More and more why I consider just renting. Houses here are ungodly expensive, and even with the money I will be making, I don't want to have a $3000 a month mortgage.

Plenty of money being saved up for the house. The mustang will be paid off by the end of the year and the WRX was bought for when the mustang goes down for the engine swap and because I was tired of being pwnt by the snow. The wrx is staying stock (somewhat).
btw the mustang as it stands now can hold it's own with stock ls1s (no nitrous), sure I had to do some bolt ons but what do you want from a 4.6? Once the paxton (kristen keeps forgetting I didn't buy the progcharger) gets put on it'll hardly "keep up" with a stock LS1 ;) . I'm just waiting for the machinest to finish the P&P job then assemble the heads and I'll be ready to slap in the new engine.
for the record I'm not a gm hater, I respect what GM has accomplished. The whole GM vs Ford thing has always been one of those pointless arguments IMO, drive whatever makes you happy who cares what the emblem says on the rear. I consider myself a car enthusiast not a Ford guy. Hell I helped with a lot of the work to Kristen's car in the beginning and some work on other members on this board, Kristen insists of doing most of it all herself now but never the less...
Jay I didn't forget about ur pics, I've just been lazy. I'll try to see if I can find them this week for you.

There must be quite a bit of price difference between renting per month and mortgage payments (around here it's as low as $100-$150 more a month difference). I don't know anyone in their right mind that would choose throwing their money out the window every month instead of equity, around here at least.

Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
