in order for the reflection to be from the mirror the sun would have to be directly behind the car and about 20* from the mirror. It's not the mirror.

Drivers side mirror... look at how you can see a reflection of the mirror on the side of the car, pointing straight down to the spot on the road.

if you really want to know what it is that bad, just put your face down by the reflected light, youll see where its coming from

in all three pictures, the sun is to the passenger side of the car (as evident by the shadows). If your mirror was facing straight back, you couldnt see out of it. It is angled in towards the car, and thusly, you. If the sun is hitting it in the general direction that you would also be viewing the mirror, it would reflect pretty much straight rearward (where teh spot is). And since the sun is usually just a little bit higher than you while you are driving, it reflects to teh ground.

but i agree with the one other post... park your car in teh same manner and just put your head at teh spot. should clear things up...

Could be light shining through your rims, but I agree with everyone else saying it's probably reflecting off your mirror.
