so I drive a 1997 cambird.
I call it a Cambird because I had a 1997 firebird about 2 weeks ago..
While pulling over to the side of the road to buy lobster (never again) (good lobster though).. I hit something called a culvert. A culvert is a big pipe thing that lets water transport underneath like roads and whatnot. well this was covered in about 3" of dirt so i didnt see it at all.. I was going idk.. 20mph? and bam car stops, air bags come out etc etc.. well insurance totaled my baby.. because the cost to fix it , was 100 dollars less then the cars worth, and thats only what the mechanic can see, You never know if they open it up and see more broken stuff.
So im ****ting bricks now, I mean i have a full exhaust Including headers, intake, pcmforless tune, Koni adjustable shocks, A posi and 3.73 gears are sitting in my room as well..
long story short, I bought my car back for salvage value and I found this camaro for sale on autotrader. brand new paint job.. the engine is messed up leaks water and whatnot but its okay, because im having my engine and radiator and all that swapped in, as well as a rebuilt manual tranny being thrown into it as well to stop future problems. (firebird was an auto.. YAY I DRIVE A MANUAL!!!!!:eek: :drool: )
so right now both cars are in the shop having that done, Camaro should be done and ready to go on wednesday.
i also bought this camaro for 900 bux.. (great deal)
I am setting it up for 1/4 mile. regardless of the $800 shocks, i was originally setting it up for autocross.. and that might still come. I havent completely decided. for now ill have a mix of both, I mean the odds are more in my favor due to me having a manual tranny but like i previously said, in the end my cars going to be drag racing..

also im in talks to trade the firebird as a shell car for a P&P job.. because i would rather trade it and see it become a race car, then part it out and throw it in a junkyard.
