sunday.. spent the whole day under my jeep tryin to get the trans and transfer case swapped out. Almost got it out, but there are two bolts on the top of the bellhousing that i can't reach. They appear to be a torx head or something too, to make it all that much more interesting..

actually, i spent the whole weekend in my garage.. continuing my rebuild on my 3.4 and working on this transmission and transfer case swap on the jeep.. good times...

They are! You need about 2ft in extensions and then a swivel on the end. Go at it from the tail of the trans, over the top. it's tight, but will work. That's why I have (2) 2ft 1/2in drive extensions :naughty: If you were closer, I'd give you a hand :tup:

well shoot, its just a 15 hr drive?! how much closer does it get!? lol..

alright, thanks man... i'll give it a shot in the next day or two. tonight i think i'm devoting to getting my 3.4 tore down to the bare block.. I only have the cam, and a few sensors to go... I might start cleaning it up some too. then of course football will be on and i'll be a fly on the wall at the local bar i frequent for some wings and dollar drafts.. :)

I have (1) 2' extension that i thought I'd never need.. looks like i'm in the market for a second.. lol

I'll hopefully have this thing apart by the weekend! I'll keep you posted...

I love my old yammerhammer though it don't go stop or turn as good as one of those, it is comfy though :D

oah sunday, washed and folded like 8 loads of laundry, watched the cowboys almost loose, watched part of cleveland loosing.

Not much beyond that..

I know what you mean about the hobby thing, I need to find something and stick to it the wife wants to get back into tennis which would be a good thing but that will distract from my riding, wrenching and golfing time. I need to say the hell with all of them and get a second job so we can buy a house faster.. .....

Yes. Friends of mine. Still have one more name to add, but this one is very difficult since it's the one this summer. :(
