well quite honestly, i'd go for it. even if you dont keep the eclipse, you are probably getting more value from your camaro than you would if you just sold it.

my advice, make the trade, then sell teh eclipse and buy something decent. my buddy has one of those eclipses (4 cyl, spyder).. slow as hell, doesnt really handle all that great. def. a chick car... though he does get like 30 mpg out of it, so if thats all you are after, its a decent car..

idk. My friend had a 97 Eclipse I had planned on buying way back when. He let me drive it, and I was surprised.....at how slow it was. My 2.8L Blazer would keep up with it, and I had 4 12's in the back, along with being new at 5 speeds :(. His car had like 83K on it, compared to my 124K Mexican mobile. I haven't driven any of the newer ones, but that one just made me lose any hope for Mitsubishi. I personally wouldn't do it. You can find some sucker who'll buy the engine and your bird from you the way it is, and have enough cash to buy a decent V6 again.

hah no...eclipses arent made for swaps or trying to get speed...besides id still be missing two cylinders :spank:

I have an idea...

Trade cars, and sell the eclipse...

a 2003 is worth alot more than your non-running firebird (no offense) so it's definetely a good deal, even if the V8 was running you couldn't sell it for that much, and I'm sure that eclipse is worth at least 4-5K + being that new

yep... one of my girlfriends favorite kinds.. along with the new beetle... the only car that we both like is the Pontiac Solstice and the new vettes, those are it...:( , but i would still go with the eclipse man... even if it was just to sell/trade it later

my girlfriend has a black 02 eclipse.... and she HATES my firebird but shes into lambos n Ferraris and **** so its good
