So I decided to take the car for a nice drive out toward Lake Sequoyah and get a scenic view of the trees changing color. Some of the roads get a little curvy and are fun, but it's really a pretty easy drive- just smooth curves coasting here and there and some light acceleration. Well, a couple miles down the road I decided to find a good place to turn around and head back, and pull into a small church parking lot.
Immediately I notice an older 3.8 black camaro pulling out and decide to go behind him, see what he's up to. It's a pretty clean car, which is different than some of these other F-bodies you see out towards the rural areas. Anyway, he goes along taking the corners slowly and his steering seems kind of notchy. I figured it was someone learning to drive on the country roads. I guess he got a little nervous with me coasting behind him, so he pulled over to the side of the road and I pass him, but take it easy down the road in hopes of keeping him in view.
Well, later down the road I pull over to take a phone call and he passes. That's when I notice the window sticker that matches the missing plate and just smile. I love seeing people buying and driving these cars, even if they are just learning to drive them. Granted this was a full grown man, but he was just as inexperienced in this car as a young teenager. :)
Just something that I found interesting, especially in these times when everyone drives a Mustang. :p Does anyone else feel like their hometowns are overpopulated by the newer Mustangs?
