    Re: 2012 Corvette

I think they should stick with the front engine design. It's always been like that, and it's part of what separates the vette from supercars, even tho the vette can outperform a lot of them. The vette is at 49-51% weight distribution as it is, so why would they change it?

AWD on the other hand I could definitely handle.

        Re: 2012 Corvette

I think that artist rendering of the Corvette will start to be the downfall of the name. Seems to me they're getting rid of that sharp looking front end it use to have more curvy than blocky. I would want a corvette to be nothing more than to have a big horsepower engine with rear wheel drive and those sleek curves that defines it.

Well, depends on what you call "ruin". It's supposed to be like 400+ hp. With AWD that's like, superior handling. I wouldn't be that harsh.

                        Re: 2012 Corvette

i give it another 5 years and the base vette will be pushing current z06 prices. i dont even want to think about what the z06 and zr1s will cost by then.

                          Re: 2012 Corvette

MotorTrend sucks! They just guess at random stuff to have something to write about. The article has no insight towards what the C7 will bring to the table.

The thing I want to see the most in the next generation is some decent seats. Throw some recaros in there. It's sad that 30k econbox racers like the EVO have seats that are 1 million times better than a Z06.
