Not the best week for the 'Maro

so it started off with a cracked rim earlier this week that i now have to replace, which sucks

then Friday night I get pulled over for having front window tints, $75 ticket... ouch...

and now Saturday night I'm on my way to ISU, when I get a "check gauges" light, my alternator took a **** on me, causing my battery to die mid-trip, leaving me stranded between home and my destination...


hopefully that saying is true about bad things coming in 3's, cause I sure as hell hope nothing more is going to happen in the near future

Niko, this is Chicagoland, most of the cops here do not like the tint, and they will give out tickets for it. I can't think of a township or a village here that doesn't give out tickets for it.

I was pulled over 4 months ago by a Barrington police officer, he gave me a ticket for the tint. Wasn't much, $35, but I told him there that I was not going to remove it. I have 2% tint all around, and a 10" brow on the windshield. I CANNOT drive a car that doesn't have some sort of tint on it, my eyes give me too many problems with the sun, so it stays on, and they will probably give me more tickets.

mine was 75 bucks... he tried giving me a no front plate ticket, i showed him my dented/bent license plate and told him a car backed into mine and he let me go

I got a ticket for the tint on my back window that came stock with the car... :( (whatever the RPO code is for that..)

I drive fine, night driving is even easier for me. I get blinded too easily.

im the same way with the brightness issue, i squint all the time during the day even with sunglasses on... which is the main reason i got the tint in the first place. i get the whole safety issue with that cop who was shot through the tint, but mine isnt even really that dark (20%) and you can see what im doing inside the car when its dark out. not to mention the fact that i have over $1000 worth of electronics in my car at all times, and in my area i seem to hear about people's cars getting broken into and **** getting stolen on a regular basis.

i love living in the south. cops dont care about that kind of thing. they just deal with speeders on our miles and miles of straight roads. yay! and i guess it helps with an uncle on the force. er' body come liv heauh

id say get it, unless jersey has a huge issue with handing out tint tickets... i dont regret getting it put on, it makes my car look 10 times better and makes it that much easier to drive during the day

a alabama trooper pulled my wife over last year,said the tint on the t/a was too dark.she tells him it is legal(35% in al) and has to get the reciept from the shop that installed it before the doughnut junkie would let her go.freakin cops just because you have a sports car they gotta give a bunch of bullsh--!
