i play hockey twice a week for two different beer league teams fyi. so lately it's been getting real competitive...
I show up today (on time for once) get ready and head out. I had no idea what a game we were in for... ya gotta understand that beer leaguers usually are joking around half the time and dont really hustle much. Today we were actually getting our shifts down to one minute, everyone was moving, we turned the puck over like twice the whole game too.
Highlights of the game: I had a breakaway but missed (i went five hole and instead blasted the goalie in the balls... 5 minute injury time-out X-D!! )
I scored top shelf on a two on one after dangling the hell outta the D
AND! we had a DOUBLE puker game today. First guy went in the first period and was fine the rest of the game. Second guy was skating the puck while we were shorthanded, shot and scored while the entire line was changing, and then SPRINTED to the bench and was hugging the trashcan for a solid 5 minutes. I couldn't laughed harder!
