LT1's go alot cheaper online than locally in my area

I'd list it for 5K locally or so

Get some better wheels and it will look nicer

Re: What would you all say my car is worth or what is a good selling price?

Yea thats what i've decided to do is list it 5,000 locally, rims don't really affect the value of the car imo....If somebody don't like the wheels thats on it and they want to buy it i'll put my stock wheels back on it, just the silver salad shooters, or if they want the black ones or the irocs thats fine. But i figure 5k obo...or take a trade on a 98+up V6 five speed camaro.

My Lt1 is fine at 145,xxx but yea i have had a lil trouble out of the opti-spark(the stupidest Idea Gm came up with) but i've had it taken care of. I keep this car up and do preventive maintenance to it. Lol it was a big step up from my 3.4, i personally won't own another v6 car if it is older than a 98.

btw don't forget to use autotrader.com. Dont use forums or craigslist or w/e. list it on autotrader and you'll get good solid buyers. My camaro was sold in 2 weeks posting on autotraders. I believe in the concept of " you gotta spend money, in order to make money" ohh and I got only $200 less the asking price. I insisted that he pay less (he wanted to pay full).

doesn't hurt to ask for a price. if you get it or not, who knows

Seriously, that car's not clean. Anyone that knows anything about LT1 cars can tell that's a poor repaint from 50 feet away. It shows terribly via the pictures, so I doubt it looks better in person. I'd give you $1000 for it, and feel like I got ripped off. SmokePanther got it right. What people list them for, and what they actually sell for is two wholly separate things. Never believe anyone that says they were paid some astronomical price for some POS. Most people have the internet, and they ALL comparison shop. I'm going to look at a 93 Z28 tonight with 117k miles, original paint, clean interior and they are asking $2k.

Re: What would you all say my car is worth or what is a good selling price?

                          per kbb - $3655 to $2930

But..... this is a modified car.

Most buyers want a bone stock car - few want modified.

So, modifications can hurt resale to most people.

When I was searching for a used lt1, I spent AGES looking for a bone stock/ near bone stock car - I did not want someone else's modified headache.

The only mod on my lt1 was a full msd ignition, including opti spark
