Oldness and drugs FTW!!!!

So -
Diazapam - 20 mg
triazalam - 25 mg

Naprosyn - 500 mg
Valium - 5 mg

First two drugs are for removing my wisdom teeth later today. I had two taken out a couple weeks ago but the ones today are impacted so - more drugs YAY!!!!

Second two drugs are for an inflamed rotator cuff. My left shoulder gave out Saturday - got progressively worse - had to remove my wedding ring because my arm, shoulder and hand swelled up bad - things are slowly getting better.

The shoulder thing sucks.... if I laugh, it hurts, if I breathe deep - it hurts, if I move it, it hurts....... but, doc's rules, no "strenuous work" for 2 weeks - no moving the lawn, raking leaves, doing the garbage, doing the laundry, etc..... and my wife was there for that, hee hee hee



And, the BEST med's I get...... is the nitrous oxide at the dentist later!!!! :banana: :banana:

Jesus christ. You're on 3 benzos. You probably don't remember a lot of your days.

My viewpoint: Just because a doctor prescribes a drug doesn't mean that its good for you to do. When people will take anything a doctor gives them without hesitation that really disturbs me, especially when there stance on some illegal drugs is that they wouldn't touch them ever. Pharmaceuticals are not great for you.

I unprescibed myself from my old medication.

I had really bad migranes while taking the medications that were supposed to prevent and cure my migranes, switched medicines about 4 times over 6 or so years. I stop taking it on my own and 6 months later I never have migranes, and haven't for ~3 years...they make you feel good but don't really do anything medically for me lol

I unprescibed myself from my old medication.

I had really bad migranes while taking the medications that were supposed to prevent and cure my migranes, switched medicines about 4 times over 6 or so years. I stop taking it on my own and 6 months later I never have migranes, and haven't for ~3 years...they make you feel good but don't really do anything medically for me lol

Lol, yeah. A few years back, my wife had a kidney infection. They put her on some medication and she started gettin migraines like twice a week. She had never had migraines before in her life. She quit taking the meds as soon as her health recovered, and the migraines dropped off a bit, but she still gets em. Something like once every 3 months or so.

It's weird, kinda like the meds triggered it, and now they wont stop. Nothing else changed except graduating college, so it wasn't like there still here from stress. Who knows...

She quit taking the meds as soon as her health recovered, and the migraines dropped off a bit, but she still gets em. Something like once every 3 months or so.

Yea, its wierd...but I took the medicine to specifically get rid of the migraines and they actually caused them more. So when i stopped taking them, they went away...

Dude Diazepam is Valium, and lorazepam is similar too.
You are taking a ton of tranqulizers and an extra strength Alieve.
None of those are very effective on pain.

Give me those pills and get a new doctor.

His liver is taking a hurting over some pills that are more for anxiety/stress.

Hydrocodone or oxycodone would be more effective.

I'm not a doctor, i'm just around a lot of 'medication'
