    After 2009 will LS1 (later years 00, 01, 02) fbody's price drop?

Of course they will continue to decrease in value but would the new camaro possibly lower there prices even more?

see i wasn't around when a new camaro was released.

there are big price differences even from 93-97 to 98-02 so I would assume the price would go down noticeably

Might be a good time to buy a LS1

the prices are going to drop alot (i hope so), especially on 2002 models, since they were the "last year" fbods, so theyre gonna lose alot of resale value when another gen is released. its the reason im holding off on buying my LS1, once the 09's are out ill see how the market looks for them

I don't see them going down too much because they are already pretty low and they are a good platform to go fast so there will be demand for them for a while still.

I'll probably get an 09 or 2010 Camaro. I just can't decide if I should keep the 94 3.4 for 30 years and see if it'll be worth anything ever. I doubt i'll have room to store it, but a lot of older ppl keep telling me not to get rid of it and that they wish they kept a car they had when they were my age because it would be worth a fortune now. Dunno what to do.

course the car also has to have relatively few miles on it too.

If you look through most magazine articles... the fbodies are on the list with future classic cars. The price for most will drop with the age of them, but not due to a new generation.
