Okay - first things first :)
I've moved to Maryland and have spent the past year working for F-Body Central and ATI Performance Products (where I am right now). - It's been fun, but not as rewarding as I thought it'd be.
More important than that ... Meet Joe. :)Some of you may know him as "Wreck" from the F-Body Wild Times videos. We've been together for about two years. He's been helping me restore my injured car. Earlier this year he sold his 1995 LT1 Camaro and bought a 1978 Bandit (clone) Trans AM w/ a 472 Big Block that we've slowly been modifying and partially restoring. Next thing on the list is a T56 swap. We've done all the research, just slowing getting all the parts together. Anyway ... That's Joe - without a doubt the best thing that's ever happen to me. :)
And now ... "Pathogen" update.
Last year we went 12.1 on the stock engine w/ 10-15psi from a Procharger P600B ... and a 60wet shot. Chipped three pistons the following week when Joe and I got involved in a track fight. Later installed a motor pulled from the Virus ... which lasted all of 15 miles before breaking a valvespring and taking out just about everything.
In June we started working on the car again. Shipped the block and crank that went 12.1 to ARD in Texas to have L32 rods and Diamond pistons installed. The sucker was neutral balanced and airfreighted back to Baltimore ... because we were trying to make Pinks All Out. Well, we missed the deadline for that by an hr or 2, but it allowed me to do a lot of other work on the car.
