So i my old ipod broke and i am just gonna buy a new one... but am stuck between 2, the ipod touch and the ipod classic

i dont know what one to buy? does anyone have any idea about what the ups and downs are, and how does the internet on the touch work?

any input is helpfull, for i got out of basic training for the marines a bit ago, and while i was in both of these came out, and i am now going into more training for infantry, so i havnt seen any of these before

Edit: keep in mind i only have 2 gigs of music on my comp, but wil be putting vids on these

I say classic.. Will not break as easy as the touch and the internet for the touch is not good. U need wifi. Also the touch is more expensive and doesn't have as much memory!

buy a zune. i've dropped mine so many times. still works. also has radio and music sharing capabilities. all for $50 less than the classic iGay!

Bunch of wankers.... you guys can get over yourselves. Everyone has OPINIONS, we've HEARD YOURS enough with this topic... geez. He asked for one or the other... not your pissing concerns.

Now....

Each have advantages and issues. Just depends on what it's primary use will be. I have 2 ipods. 1 mini updated to 8gb and a 5.5gen 60gb. mini is my data transfer and player for the bike. The big one is for the rest of my collection. Movies are ok, but if that is big to you, go with the touch. If music (and lots of it) is primary, go with the classic. I like the touch, but won't be getting one until the next rev. or the next iphone. I love tech stuff... but not enough when it's only half of what I want.
