So someone from guatemala told me all I have to do is "finish" an open claim someone already started, said to go to fedex.com and then he transferred me to some talking computer...
Anyone know how the hell I "finish" a claim?
I'm on a wild-goose-hunt talking to the fedex people/robots
I sent a package, fedex damaged it, so the recipient filed a claim, recipient told me they (fedex) told him that I need to finish the claim.
-went in to fedex store, they said it was fedex GROUND so I would need to drive 30mins to go to there depot or go online and finish it
-couldn't figure out fedex.com b/c it was saying i couldn't finish it because someone had already started the claim
-called 1800gofedex they said to go back online and he would transfer me to a "specialist" which was actually a robot who transfered me to another robot just to tell me to log onto fedex.com
really? hmm. i must be one of the lucky ones then. and no... i was gonna work at the airstrip. no uniform there. i think only the truck drivers where one...

Hey, I work for my dad.. Who is a contractor for fedex ground. I do the 90 Day PM inspections on trailors and dolleys. Man. I gotta say though.. The amount of graffiti on the bottoms of the decks that I write up every day is rediculous. If those package handlers understood that if they didn't try to destroy the trailors they load and unload in they might have a pay increase because fedex would have funds for them. Not for us cleaning the stupid **** they write or draw on the bottoms of the decks. Or the Idiot drivers cutting the door pull straps.. or the drivers dragging the tires before the brake system has enough air into it to release the brakes.. or .or..
I could seriously go on and on about every aspect of a trailor being damaged and how it could be prevented by simple care or patience. The Semi truck driver and package handlers are the butt holes of fedex. As far as I know the actual van drivers take more care of the packages than anyone.. probably because they have to come into contact with the customer.
BUT, fedex's service is honestly slower with their service than UPS as far as recieving our parts goes. Ironic eh? We're within a Fedex terminal recieving shipments from a UPS van faster than Fedex could manage. It takes UPS 2 days what takes Fedex almost a week to accomplish sometimes.
Assbackwards? Yes.
Oh hahahahah I didn't even mention the washer boys that power wash the trailers.. Those guys are halariously annoying.
At least here in Toledo we're getting a new terminal soon and moving out of the city!!! heh That means I don't get Telodo's city taxes anymore! Whoo! More money for that Turbo hah! Whoa, I wrote a story.. Ok. Later.
