well i guess so... but in my opinion... driving with lots of hairpins on a track is MUCH more fun than driving on a straight line... 2x the adrenaline... 10x the skill... well thats just me...:rolleyes:

ZR1 has always been a collector car around 6,800 were built. 90 and 91 they made the most, so there a bit cheaper. I would not drift one. I would think it would do well with 405HP. ZR1's are a bit of money but you can go wrong, they hold there value. I still havent bought one yet, i cant find one.

Does everyone on here consider drag racing a sport. I consider anything people get competitive over a sport. Yes, playstation is a sport. NES for the win!!!

I don't consider anything that has 'style points' a sport. There's a big difference between road course racing or auto-x and drifting.

I say build beyond your means. Its like up grading whatever got now to something even better one step at a time.

Getting in the wrong kind of debt is a bad but if know how to play your cards right you can get out of whole. Theres no way id finance a sportscar like that(Thats even if the bank allows it) cause overtime you will be paying about the same as a new C6!, it would be best to save in the right places in the meantime and pay with cash or atleast pay most of it and finance the rest.

It would do great but it would make a grown man cry if it slams into the wall.:eek:

My vette of choice would be either the L98's to early LT1's and LT4's to the base C5's and C5 Z06's then maybe the C6 and C6 Z06's as a complete drift car but I was gonna go that route i would start off with a parts car from an insurance company. no way id pay 70k to then invest another 20k to possibly lose it all.

Atleast with starting out with a complete partscar that was involved maybe in a minor accident or was stolen and striped that would give you the chance to do all the suff you gotta do with out a teardown. Saves lots of money and hours of work now if you can find a striped down ZR1 then diffrent story i wouldn't let it just sit id give it new life by making it a driftcar.
