Damn street racers!!

I got off work and followed my coworker/friend, John (big time martial art and Chuck Norris fan), to a car shop. He needed a ride after he drops off his '97 Sonoma. I was driving my old '88 Mitsubishi pickup.

Anyway, we came to a quick stop at a stoplight and I was behind him. Just a few seconds after the light turned red, out of no where I heard this loud screeching sound of brakes.

I quickly looked at my rearview mirror and I saw an early 90's Supra braking hard and coming fast behind me. Next to him was another car, Nissan 280zx, braking hard as well.

My muscles tensed up and I braced myself for an impact as I watch him getting closer. You know the saying, that you were so scared that the hair on your back stands up. Well I found out that I do have hair on my back.

Well the Supra turned sideways from braking hard and stopping only inches away from me. The 280zx stopped way pass the stop line, fortunately for him there were no cars there.

I could have been a goner if that Supra hits me. My truck is made out of aluminum, it has a broken seat belt, no air bags, and it's light weight.

My friend and I talked about it for awhile and we were both pissed!

Wow, even if they were going to be stupid enough to street race, why would they go to the extent that they would have to lock up their brakes to stop in time? Idiots.

Back into him and then say he hit you. Who are they going to believe. Come to think of it, how funny would that be. Next time your at a light back into the person behind you, call the cops and say they hit you. I do have that spider crack that needs repainting, hmmm...

that would be just as bad as the guys street racing.... don't stoop to their level
