there are a few videos on youtube that show that man vs. wild is a fake or scam.
but he does show the "extremes" of nature and how to get through them.
personally, i like survivorman, because he has to walk to all these spots, set up the cameras, walk back, then walk back through to get the shot.

Meh. I'll watch Man vs Wild before Survivorman. He just kinda goes there and toughs it out until his crew comes to rescue him. Kinda boring.
