I know some of you have disabled friends and I was wondering if they have to put up with the DMV sending them a letter in the mail about them having to mail in their license because the DMV claims that they have no forms on file about a physical evaluation. SOMEONE please tell me that I am not the only one going through this EVERY year.

According to them I did not follow North Carolina General Statute 20-29.1 and 20-9. I've read both and I have done everything it says I haven't

Re: Question about your disabled friends
DMV sent me something like that shortly after I was pulled over the first time after my accident and I was unable to get out of the vehicle for the officer due to my leg.
So, they tried telling me I needed to turn in my license due to the nerve spasms I get in my leg and me being unable to walk away from the car if needed. I pretty much never responded to it and never turned it in to them, because I kept checking on it and it never got suspended.

Re: Question about your disabled friends
We just had a new guy come to the house I work at. He's actually from my home town. Anyway, he ended up having a stroke a couple years ago and now uses an electric wheel. He was showing me some of his stuff and he still has a valid driver's license. I wonder how long it will take for IDOT to take it away?
