Congrats Bro. The first couple months are the hardest. After that, it's a fun as you make it.

Ohhh yeah.... The first couple months can be down right hellish... but it's a different kinda hell... not necessarily a bad hell. You can't put it into words. You'll know what I mean when you get there.

Then, it will take the first year for your woman's hormones to get back into whack, which is always fun. :( Then you'll get 5 million shlimeggies like me telling you what it's like and you'll get all the horror stories... to the point you'll want to tell everyone to STFU!

But kids are great. I wouldn't trade it for anything. There is no feeling like it in the world. And as Speedy and I have posted before, car seats fit great in an F-Body.

I got asked "so what are you having?" so many times, I started answering "cockerspaniel". Confused the s--t out of people. but honestly, for strangers on the street to ask, it gets annoying as hell.

What used to really piss us off is people we don't know reaching out and rubbing my wife's belly. When did that become socially acceptable? Since I'm ranting, it used to piss me off when random strangers would touch my son when he was a baby. It's like, who are you and get the F--K away from my baby. freaking perves. :rant: :mad: :slap:

I had this one guy come up to me out of the blue and ask, "Do you love your children?" Talk about a weird question. I felt like saying, "No! And as a matter of fact, I am currently working out some retroactive abortion with their mother." Freak...

I always love the unsolicited parental advise from strangers. We were at a friends for Thanksgiving and the hosts mother was giving us crap because our 1 year old daughter was drinking out of a sippy cup instead of a bottle. "I can't believe you are denying that baby a bottle" My wife and I gave each other the biggest WTF look of 2007. I wonder if she recommends a pacifier for the first graders.
