  • Long Tube Headers for 3.8 (info)

Here is a thread for the people that are interested in Long Tube headers for a 3.8L Series II. Just a heads up, so people can follow up on this.

    http://www.fullthrottlev6.com/forums...g+tube+headers

    EDIT: Update

    order them now!

    -304 SS 16 gauge construction
    -polished
    -1.5" primaries
    -2.5" collectors
    -TIG Welded
Does not have provisions for EGR.

These headers are being manufactured in batches of 10 or more for us, so to be able to get the first batch going, we need to get at least 10 people to commit to purchase before we can proceed with the order.

Upon order, it takes 12 weeks for delivery of the product to us, expect another 1-2 weeks for it to make it to your hands, via UPS, pending payment.

Prices are as follows for this batch:

    -Headers only: $725.00. SHIPPED
-Headers with Y pipe: $850.00. SHIPPED

We will ask for a $225.00 deposit to secure your spot on the list upon order.
If you decide to back out after the order has been put in, we will refund your deposit minus $50 for stocking fee.

When we recieve the shipment, we will contact you to request the remaining payment be made. Upon reciept your order will ship.

    Payments can be made by:

    -mail personal check
    -mail money order
-Paypal. You will need to add the 3% fee to the cost if you choose this option.

Future batches may increase in price due to fluctuations in steel prices. This price is garanteed for the first batch only.

If you wish to join the list and secure your spot PM me with your name, email, and adress, to confirm order and discuss payment. We will not collect payments until we have met our order quota of 10 or more, so no worries on not meeting the quota.

We would like to close the first order in the new years to ensure we recieve the product in March, so if we have more then 10 by 1/1/08 we will move forward with te order, if not, we will have to wait.

I will keep this updated with the number of people in the list to maintain you guys informed on status.

    thanks,
    FFF

They look like pacesetter headers with long tubes, the one that Abbott racing did.

They look beautiful though. I wish I could long tube here in Calif. I have problems already with the current ones I have.

I know the feeling. NY emission are nearly as strict as Cali's.

                        they're expensive for a reason.

but yea....not even corvette ls2 headers run for that much.

yea but still I could never justify spending that much on a part that really doesn't do that much (no dynos but it will still be a low-bang for the buck mod most likely)

hell it took alot of convincing myself to buy pacesetter mids!

you guys are mislead to believe that price is expensive. For a really quality set of headers which those are, you would be paying a lot more for someone else to make them.

As for not seeing much power, man another misinformed person, sorry but these longtubes are going to blow pacesetter headers out of the water.

This is a good thing for the 3.8 community, stop making it sound like it isn't. We have waited a long time for someone to make longtubes for our cars. The time has finally arrived.

If you want power, and to make a super fast car, you need these unless you are going turbo
