I think Ford realized their Mustangs suck and they don't want to put anymore money into them anymore. Since the Camaro is coming back out they have to cut back somewhere and think of something better.

eh, they could have done a little something to it though... times are changing, and showing what you got up your sleeves on the outside is kinda what is in nowadays...
I don't care for the new mustang period, but I hate how there is a new special edition mustang ever week now. Sales on the V8 are starting to slip and ford is trying to keep people interested by throwing a bunch of garbage on the body.
I like it... sticks to the original look. The 99 bullits were simple too... no wing, etc... they are actually already starting to go up in value.(or hold it)
I like the new Bullitt, it looks more stripped down like its supposed to be and could be a hell of a sleeper to anyone who doesn't see the Bullit trunk hatch badge :)
Its funny to see all the people posting on here who APPARENTLY don't know what the Bullitt was all about:rolleyes:
you really think its a good idea to look "old school" on this body style stang. Not only to look "old school", but have that old school look be exactly that of a v6 stang?
would you prefer TWO wings like the new KITT? :stp:
Its a monkey turd that Ford s***s out and throws at the public.
NICE, I like that qoute better.

Quote "The 2008 Mustang Bullitt calls back the original movie car in painstaking detail - right down to the dark green paint and lack of exterior badges, scoops and spoilers."

sleeper to what? it'll run slightly better times than a gt does, so the majority of newer v8 cars would slap it around.
