reminds me of driving the cobra on the freeway when i JUST bought it, and the ****ing wheel came off, know the feeling, glad you're good to go and the Z isnt too bad.

Thats ****ed but funny at the same time lol...anyways glad your okay and in one piece man...Id hate to be paralyzed to, couldnt picture livin like that...sucks about the car, hopefully insurance covers everything...Id take it to the best shop around town and have an A1 job done on it so its really hard to tell it was in an accident

Unfortunately, they're everywhere. I had the luck to be the daughter of two insurance agents... and the stories I hear. :rolleyes: Not to mention the pictures of wrecked cars.

Anyway, sorry to hear about the car, kala. Sad to hear about stuff like this happening to people and cars that don't deserve it, especially since you just got it. Some just need to learn to stop texting and put down the phone while going 70mph, or whatever else they're doing, and pay attention. Unfortunately, it often takes an accident like this to happen before they realize it.

Good luck with the car. Hopefully you're insurance will take care of it with as few headaches as possible.

Thanks guys for your support. The more I think about it, the more I get scared. I can't believe I was doing 360 (twice) on a crowded highway at 70 MPH and I didn't hit one single car or median or over bridge pole or a tree!!! I was so close to all of these things. I mean imagine hitting like a suv or even a truck while doing those maneuvers .....wow, I basically got a 2nd chance at life. I feel great, no muscle pain or anything.

There was a witness who kinda saw the whole thing but things happened sooo fast , she is confused too. The girl that hit me, as per witness, did a single 180 degrees and ended up facing the parkway traffic. Then being a bad driver as she is, she started to drive toward the oncoming traffic. That's when the witness slammed on her brake and swerved to the grass to avoid hitting her. If you are not fully competent driving in the highway, please don't drive in highway. I am a young kid and I got away with it but what if I had a baby in my car and I was married? If me or the baby gets killed, can she forgive herself? can she give normal life back to my widow wife? ........

I am sooo scared of the parkway , I still haven't been on it (garden state parkway). Maybe in a week or two I will drive there again.

My car is drivable. Thank god for that. I was surprised by the strength of the car. Even after doing all that, car is driving pretty good. I will need a new tire along with all the body works.

I have mailed my request for the police/accident report. I should get it in few days.

nightrider2, if you are curious, you can see all the skidmark on Garden State Parkway (south bound) close to exit 38.

Mighty, she was driving this 1984 toyota corolla or something. Her car looks like nothing f'ing happened. WTF did they use to make those cars?

TheGr8Schlotzky, I don't know how fast the chick was going, but I strongly think that maybe she panicked for w/e reason, and instead of hitting the brake to slow down, she hit the gas instead. If both cars doing same speed, she can't make a deep dent like that. She must've been going faster than me.

BTW, anyone from NJ, what's the procedure? I was never involved in any kind of accident before. What I suppose to be doing after I get my accident report? I have allstate insurance. Will they give me a rental while my car is being fixed??
