      Re: pulled over agian...

I have a similar experience. I was driving home at 3am last week. I am going about 55 in a 45. I had a bit to drink, but was not drunk at all. I see a cop going the opposite direction. He passes me and immediately flips around. I slow to 50. He is riding my *** but then turns off some random road. So just cause I was driving a Camaro he instantly tailed me cause he thought I might be speeding. Gotta love profiling.

          Re: pulled over agian...

When driving fast always do it behind someone else. If the cop pulls you over you can get it thrown out in court saying he never had a clear view and hit the car in front of you. (worked 2x) Usually they will pull over the person in front. With a name like crunk1234 I don't expect you to have seen Smokey and the Bandit, but it's the same idea.

I've also had good luck being polite, but not patronizing. If you say "sir" after everything they will ticket you.
          Few quick tips:
Most of the time don't admit you were speeding; when they ask if you know what they pulled you over for/how fast you were going.

When asked this, answer with another question politely: Was I going too fast? Wasn't I going <speed limit>?

If you say you were speeding/going over the limit the little microphone they wear will pick it up and they can use it in court.

A lot of this is done by feel, sometimes they will give a warning if you admit to what you were doing. (worked 3x)

          EDIT:
If you do get a ticket, go to court and ask the DA for a break. He will always offer a lesser charge (easier than trial) and this will take %50 off of the ticket price. If you are under 18 ask for an ACD (he will be surprised you know this term), and claim you learned about it in a law&justice class. If you stay out of trouble for 6 months no fine is levied, and when you turn 18 the record of it is permanently sealed. An ACD is issued at the DA's discretion, it is not guaranteed.

I think that the only profiling that was going on was about someone being on the road a 3am. He probably just ran your plates to see if the car was stolen or something.

There was a hyundai Santa Fe right near me going the same way, so I wasn't the only one on th road at that time.

No one is going to steal a santa fe. I would wager to say if a huffy bike was left next to santa fe with the keys in it the bike would disappear first.

I drove a loud, bright red 97 Camaro for 2 years. Now I drive a loud 97 Camaro with bold black stripes that sticks out like a sore thumb in traffic...no tickets yet

                  :knocks on wood:

The only times that I have been pulled over (in either vehicle) were legitiamate.

yep it happens regularly to me, since the cops out here in the burbs have literally nothing else to do, they'll flip around and check my plates 2-3 times a month

i was watching a show on court TV and they were setting up bikes in the ghetto... it took a couple minuets 2-3 minuets on average i think... for a bike! never leave you bike alone on a sidewalk in the ghetto... and if you see one, don't steal it, it might just be the fuzz

Maybe your car met the discription of a BOLO or something. I just think people use the term "profiling" to discribe a cop doing their job.

EDIT: other than that... i had one other ticket cause my window tint was at 3%... legal limit in FL... 28.5%
