Got to see my first C-RAM go off



and heard some return fire on or parts. I found it very, .. exilerating, especially when our ordanence went off over and the reports were being felt coming back from outside the wire.

On a lighter note, sort of, I took Gumby along for this rotation, he was bytchign about not going ont he previous ones, so I htook some pics of him on his way over here. Well, the other day he started to get a bit rowdy, and I had to lay the smack down on him, as seen here (if attachment placed right):

So you heard the incoming getting tore up, or were they using the SD rounds? Either way, hearing one of those go off must be saaaawwwweeeeettt. I think the CIWS was like 4K rpm... so this is prob more than that.
