    Firefox

    Everytime I try to open firefox, it says " firefox is already running, and not responding, close firefox or restart your computer and try again".

    Restarted several times, nothing. Then I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it, still doing this.

    Any Ideas?

    I just started using Firefox and its pissing me off too. It wont let me log in to certain forums

    Sorry to jack your thread Matt, I dont have any advice for you lol.

      My fox is working fine.....

      1998 White Camaro 3800, A4, MagnaFlow Cat-Back, Zexel & 3.42's, Jet Chip Stage 2, Whisper Lid, and Ram Air.

        hit ctrl+alt+del find the firefox.exe in processes and end it. dose it do every time? if so u need virus scan try spybot search and destroy.

          After ending all processes of firefox.exe and reinstalling, and restarting, search for adware, spyware, and malware on your computer, and don't forget virus scan too. You should be fine. Also redownload the installation file

            yep that always works for me when firefox craps out

              I did control / alt / delete and nothing shows up as running.

                also, Scanned completely - No virus' or adware, malware etc...


                Cant find firefox in running processes so thats out of the question and I uninstalled AGAIN, and reinstalled.

                No change.

                  Do you have the newest version of firefox? Did you do the spyware/virus scans?

                        firefox is great, everybody likes it... internet explorer sucks... i don't like it... ive actually never had a problem with my firefox so i don't know whats wrong
