Badass, just had what I thought was going to be an informal talk over lunch with a potential boss of mine about a position I have simply asked about. I figured I'd be a talk about the general things that get discussed in these things.
Turns out a job I have wanted and is open was given to me. :) I had a few people I work with including my current boss vouch for me, and that was it. Going to have a nice set schedule, a couple part time people, a cushy position, and a raise that works out to be around $2 an hour extra.
Figuring in three months the extra money will buy me a cam/springs/etc, and some coated headers. That gives me three months to get to work on my new spare set of heads.
