 Alright so tell me why everyone in the Louisville/Southerin Indiana area thinks i own a Z28? No ricer will race me (easy Kills) or stock GT's only STI on 22psi or a fully modded GT will even ask. If i see someone on the express way they wont look over or will just wave me to go on. My car is quick but no Z28 and the only people who race me are the ones who will win for sure. every now and then id like a close even race! SO what are some appearacne mods i can do to make my car look more V6ish. all i can think of is this http://www.pfyc.com/pc/CM1007/CMEXT/...+V6+Decal.html

Paint "V6" on the sides, hood, and rear. Duh... BTW, just to re-iterate, we DON'T promote street racing here.
Where did he say anything about street racing? He said no one asks to race him, how do you know it's not at the track?!? He says people wave him to go by on the highway, but maybe he wants them to pull over and ask them to drive to the nearest track and race :P
Anyways, I had the same problem. I put "Just A 6" on my rear hatch so everyone knows. I also have 3800 in place of the Z-28 badges, and most people don't read it, just see it and assume it says Z-28. I've gotten many compliments saying my car sounds very V8ish, and the fact that I have the Z-28 Chrome rims and Z-28 stock tips just make it seem more like a V8.

racing to the speed limit is not going to show anything as for how a car performs, nor is 40-65. So why would someone waste their time racing you to 55?
Go to the track if you want to find people to race you.

ah man why didn't you want to race to the speed limit?
I don't care if the track is closed, it is closed here for the winter as well, just means the car gets stored :) Tracks close for people to do mods to their cars, ;)
if u have a dual exhaust people might just think its a debadged Z28?
and usually pepople who debadge stuff(as opposed to advertise it) have lotsss of work done. the most hooked up cars ive ever seen have no badging, no crazy rims and all that jazz...maybe it just sounds mean?
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
