So I finally talk to the shop putting the engine in my V6. I've had to make 2 parts runs out to them in Indiana to bring them **** they didn't ask for up front. All they asked for was the starter and the alternator. I had to bring the MAP, MAF, y pipe, serpentine belt and other misc crap out there. The car should have been done Friday. Today they tell me that the new engine seized. I really can not win with cars lately. They are putting another engine in now.

Oh, and if anyone sees something. I'm looking for a GM FWD car, preferably with a bad 3.8 engine. I don't care about miles. Any Grand Prix GT, Impala, Monte Carlo, Bonneville will do. I have a complete wrecked Impala that I need to swap the engine out of.

lol, i doubt they tested it right. seems like a backwater toothless inbred cousin ****ing operation if you ask me. I'm thankful that it didn't die in my possesion, but this doesn't give me high hopes for the next engine. Guess I'll have to trade this car in ALOT faster than I thought.

lol, i have NO desire to drive a v6 fbody. i already found another GTO for under $16k. If I can find a C5 at that same price point, then I'll pick that up.

Sounds like they were either stupid or you got a lemon engine. The next one should be great assuming they put it in right.
