Orlando, anyone?

I have a chance to get out of Savannah to go to Orlando. I'll be helping my step dad's friend doing random chores and errands for like 7.50 an hour under the table. He's behind with work and everything and needs the help. He'll provide room and board and whatnot. I'll be staying anywhere up to a month. Maybe longer. Who knows? I might just stay there. Anyone know what the F-Body Scene is like down there? I may just take the 'maro with me.

would tell you since i am from fl but i have just moved back here after 10 years. i would like to know about the F-body scene around here myself. mine dont run but that no matter still love the camaro..

im pretty sure we have a few orlando guys on here that can chime in.
7.50 doesnt add up to be that much. not sure how old you are, but you should be able to find something basic that pays more than that!

minimum wage here is 7.95, but if you get a place to live as well, you could probably live off 7.50, but you're definitely gonna want to look for some better pay..

This is true, however at this point in time, I'm not making 5h!t from the security job. It's still fuzzy whether I quit or was fired. It's a way out of here. Savannah is one of those places where once you're here and you've been here a while, it's hard to get out. I'm 18, btw, and the Corps is still in the works eventually. If anything, I can do it to help him out for a bit and he can most likely hook me up with a good job. Like I said, I may even end up staying down there.

There's alot of F-bodies down here. I don't know of many car clubs but on fridays nights at the dragstrip theres alot of them there.

there is a huge scene in orlando... imports, and domestics. Same with tampa and more...

Cost of living will be a bit higher here just to let you know.

Min wage is $6.89 now I think.


As for construction its slowing alot here... well at least in the housing market... I know some people that are really feeling the housing bubble crashing in FL.

Yeah the housing market is slowing. But theres alot of commercial building and construction. I forgot about fuel**** haha.
