Wastin a day away waitin on parts to be delivered

ok well, where im doing the 98-02 front end swap i finally ordered my hood last week, a SS hood by the way. And i get a phone call friday evening saying that my hood is Lexington bout 30 miles north of where i live at, they told me that i have to be there to sign for the drop off, and ask if monday at 11am would be fine thats what time they expected arrival would be. So i said yeah i'll be there. 12 rolls around and i just called to make sure the hood was shipped cause i've got a few things i need to go out and do. They told me yes it is on its way there. Well as you can tell its already past 1 and the hood still isn't here, i cant leave cause my luck whenever i do the truck will get here, so needless to say im bored out of my mind.

I hate that. I flipped out on some glass guys when I spent the majority of a afternoon waiting on them only to findout someone screwed up the schedule and they weren't coming like they said they were.

I have a furnace repair man coming out "between 12 and 6" tomorrow. I asked, if they could narrow that down just a bit, and they said no. A six our window? Give me a break.

This past summer, the cable dude was suppose to come between 1 and 5. I had to run some errands. I get home at 1:05 exactly. He was hoping in his truck driving off. I flag him down and ask where he was going. He said he closed my ticket because I wasn't home, and I would have to reschedule. They want me to wait four frickin hours, but 5 mins is too much for them? WTF? :rant: After a 'little' lecture, he called in and reopened by ticket.

got my hood bout 4, the truck driver called and ask...where do u live? lol he wasn't even in my town yet and i just agreed to meet up with him and pick the hood up at a local store. but anyways here it is

That's gonna look very nice :tup: We've had a few repair guys and such come, they gave us a window of "between 11 and 5." Had the same thing happen with a UPS delivery, between 1 and 6. I had to go pick something up at 4:15, I come back in literally 10 minutes, and there is a note on my door saying I missed it and I'd have to wait til the following monday between 1 and 6 to sign for the package. People piss me off :rant:

lol it will be a little bit more of a wait. I still lack the 98-02 bumper and headlights and it will be ready. I'm gonna take one whole day, swap everything over at once.

i don't think that you could put one on with out the other. good luck, when does the bumper get there
