making a tint or something to paint cars in

i was curious if anyone has any ideas.... for making a tint to paint cars in.

right now i only have a metal frame up. i'll take a picture of what it looks like tomorrow. but i was thinking of putting blue tarps up as walls until i can find wood or sheet metal to build the walls.

is there anything i need to add to it. do i need fans on the ceiling? how tall do i need it? i was thinking 8 foot tall.

lol.. none of that made sense and now I know why.


You'd need some kind of an air purification system to get the dust and dirt out of the air so it doesn't stick in the paint.

I think 8ft should be plenty.

heres the pic

using these as the frame. they are 12 foot high. i'm cutting them down to 8 foot.
i should pour concrete so i can anchor these to the concrete.





share any ideas that u have

I painted my truck once in one one those 10 x 20' tents you set up like during a fair or something. I wrapped the side with tarps and hung a box fan blowing out one corner. Ghetto as hell and far from perfect, but it actually worked and wasn't too bad. Keep the ground wet to control the dust so..
