i'm sure this has been discussed but i was wondering whats the best all around snowboarding spot on the east coast? i'm in south carolina and dont really wanna travel past virginia.

Of any ski resort you can think of.

I just got back a few weeks ago from touring colorado, hit up quite a few resorts.

By far my favorite was breckenridge or copper mountain.. but that's out west.

if i had the money i'd fly out west in a heartbeat! but sadly i'm flat broke right now. i think it'd be to late if i saved for a trip out west this season.

It cost me about $1,000 but we had 7 people that went and drove, rented a house and honestly the majority of the money spent was on lift tickets.

At 86 dollars a day per resort, just for the lift ticket, it adds up fast.

yeah i was looking at the price of a lift ticket at vail. holy sh!t! it was like $90 a day! to drive there is out of the question. i could fly business class for that much. nah, that's why i'm gonna stick to the east coast this year. i'm thinking beech mountain or appalachain ski mt.
