      Re: Street Racing

how ****ing stupid can you be??? safe street racing??? I swear the people are retarded, theres drag strips all over this country. its safe(or the maximum safety for such a sport), its a definite 1/4 mile(so theres no rice burning foreigners stabbing each other over who won), and its cheap. I mean they're talking about going over 100 mph in economy cars that are unstable at 70. I swear to god I'm going to start ranting to every editor I see call there retards "drag racing". drag racing is a LEGAL sport, were maximum safety is provided. Street racing is Juan Taco and Ping Pang Pong blasting though residential areas, and nobody know its coming...they just thing the neighbor is moving his lawn.

            Re: Street Racing

To be a devil's advocate... I do believe there is a such thing as "Safe street racing"

I do also agree almost all street racing is dumb. Its huge here in Orlando(la fiebre, or "the fever"), I remember the one they talked about in the article about the teen dieng(btw by word of mouth and actual witnesses wasn't streetracing, just a ricer driving like an idiot)

but some a quick race from 40-110 on a 4 lane highway with no other real traffic late at night isn't so bad(though I think roll racing is dumb)

And also some of the racing that goes on here in Corporate parks on weekends(they are closed on weekends) **** one of the popular spots is about 5-6 miles from the nearest anything that is not the corporate park, not even a gas station. Only thing that is nearby is a County prison.

Then to get to this place, you have to take highways, for about 20-30 min. The roads are very long, straight, well lit and in great condition, probalby better condition then the local track.

I still stick to the track only, but I do agree there is a thing as "smart safer street racing"

all this obviously with cars 13.0 and slower.

                Re: Street Racing

Racing from a roll is not real racing:banana:

Like I told that monkey with an SLR Mclaren on another site which I won't mention racing from a roll is for the riceburner crowd its not real racing regardless of what kind of car you own or how safe it is or how fast you can go real men run from a dig at the track.:stp:

Cause thats where legends are born not at no street racing event unless your trying to be some wannabe gangsta with a civic who's bald and lives his life a quarter mile at a time

Back in the day yea it was fun because everybody else in highschool was doing it but as I grew up it became stupid and boring.

                That car was toast.
