No offense. ;) :takes foot out of mouth What I meant was "some" big people are careless opening their car doors therefore creating dings and dents in other people's cars. But then again, that's most people... which is why I park farrrrrrrr awaayyyyyy.
If somebody parks next to me to the point i can't get in the car they get a size 14 foot print in they're door
Only 3 things...
1) The speedo needs to reflect the actual top speed of the car
120mph wont cut it if I can reach it half way through 4th gear
2) I'm afraid I'll be run over (not seen) by the truck owners of Oklahoma
Everyone and their brother has one in Oklahoma, and if not a truck, its a freaking Suburban or an Excursion
3) The engine is half way under the dash
Given, its a great idea for weight balance, but its a pain to work on if a problem exists in the area under the dash
I ate a bowl of fail this morning.
Quarter Million Mile Club
I have 15s and my calves my legs are as big as some people's waist. It is scary how easy it is to kick in a fender. I used to it a bit on bad fenders on cars in teh junkyard.
*Usual creaks and rattles
*F body clear coat seems to actually attract scratches to it
*F bodies seem to attract shopping carts and other cars to it, even if your parked all the butt f*ck way away from where your going
*Why they optioned the car w/out limited slip is beyond me, every RWD car should come with a limited slip for safety reasons
*Gigantic doors make parking straight imperative.
*Rear fenders should be made of rubber, cuz everyone has dents on them
*Severe lack of top end power with the 3800 (in stock form)
*Shocks go around 50k, and most of us haven't even seen a V6 F body with less miles than that
*GM should have given replacement - with the purchase of car - turn signal sockets, t top weather stripping, shocks, hood and hatch shocks, and power window motors, heater cores, and headlight motors (firebirds)
*Wiper arms seem to bend for no apparent reason, resulting in 1/2 wiper blade contact
*Automatic transmissions could uses another gear ratio or 3
*V6 5 speed models should have been optioned with a 2nd overdrive (six speed) because the M6 LS1 (140 extra horsepower for the ignorant) can get better mileage at highway speeds.
*Cramped engine bay - but compared to Honda's I can't complain
*I won't even get started on the 10 bolt....
Thats all I can think of for now, but theres probably more.
On the upside, they are one of the most fun and affordable cars a guy like me could ever own. Pretty good on gas too, and I think T tops is the coolest type of roof you can get (targa is cool, but I love T tops)

ok, so three things that i can think of...
one, that has not been mentioned at all yet... the ****ing huge air dam under the front of the car. i mean, thank christ it is there, but isnt there anything, anything else they could have done. maybe a lifetime replacement or something like that.
two, turning radius. its just dumb. that is all i can say. for lack of better words.
three, bump in passenger side. having ridden in the passenger side... this bump is quite annoying. actually very annoying.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
