ok you gotta settle this arguement I've been having for awhile...Is our 3.8L camaros classified as a muscle car? I say yes it is...based on the fact that the GNX's were considered muscle cars and we have pretty much the exact same 3.8L engine minus the turbo...so therefore we should be looked at as muscle cars???

Re: 3.8L camaro muscle car?
hahahaha i love it. GIANTS WIN PATS LOSE!! but no i wouldnt really classify it as a muscle car. dont get me wrong i love our 3.8L V6's, and with a power adder we can have pretty bad *** machines, but American muscle has always been about raw displacement/torque/low RPM strength of the car. though as far as standards go, 3.8L is still pretty big for a V6.
Now the 5.7L V8 T/A's and Camaros, I would fight to the death defending the fact that they are muscle cars.Last edited by 99BlackW68; 02-03-2008, 10:34 PM.

I know that, I love em to...But I mean the turbo on a GNX doesnt make it a muscle car, and the GNX also has a 3.8L v6....so we have that same engine...should we not be considered muscle as well? I mean were camaros/firebirds and we have an engine that was in a muscle car....so...

Re: 3.8L camaro muscle car?
the GNX is a different story.
it was one of the fastest production cars of its time, so it gets special mention. where as the v6 fbody has always been the economy version of the real deal.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
