You're really not too far from the truth either. LOTS of old players on the pats D, aging people like Bruschi, Vrabel, SEAU, they're getting old, they will have to soon be replaced.

Good thing we've got the number 6 pick and the best free-agent-deal-finding coach in the league then.


It'll be intresting to see whether the pats will slump next year like all the recent previous SB runner ups have, or whether they'll be back in force again next year. Also it'll be intresting to see how the giants play next year... i could see them potentially missing the playoffs like the 05 steelers and the 01 pats did in their post championship years.
