I wrote to him and told him that two things hurt his ad: his arrogant/pompous wording and the jap symbols all over an Amercan car. I'd take a "plane jane" vette (as he words it) over this one any day and modify if tastefully. This guy thinks he has a gem.
He said the "jap symbols" were chinese "art"... maybe hes chinese. Anyway, it'd look pretty pimp without the paint work.

He wrote back to me and said:

"the jap symbols don't make sense because all of GM parts on that "american" car is outsourced in Mexico, so conisider the vette a Mexican car, however Toyota (the Jap company) are assembled here in America and gives americans work. So the whole nationality thing can be very misleading."

Does this mean he should have put Mexican symbols on the car instead?

Some of the parts are made in Mexico, just like most any other American auto manufacturer. But assembly is in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Yeah, they give you the car in the museum. I'm not sure what else is involved though.
