Shelby Cobra Coupe or Fastback...its one of those 2, but there are only 2 ORIGINALS built. The rest are kit cars, because the only 2 were raced in the LeManns. Sadly, they couldnt keep up with the For GT40s...

There was more than 2 built and they didn't produce them when they produced GT40's because they did not want in house competition
Hmm...I guess I'm thinking of the ones that were built for LeManns. I have seen alot of kits, but I'll admit that I'm wrong there.
They were built for endurance racing.. debuting at the 1963 24 hours of Daytona (hence the name Shelby Daytona Coupe), originally there were 6. They were intended as competition for the prancing horse...
Like that guy and all his friends.
Featured in the game Gran Turismo 2 if anyone remembers...
What that is is an easy question... what powers it is another matter :)
Thats a McKee Howmet Turbine car.
weight-1,430 lbs.
HP- 235 @ 57,500 Raucous RPM.
It was a Continental Turbine engine originally for a small helicotper. They never really amounted to anyhting, they had problems, and were down on top speed, but they did win a couple races, but nothing FIA major, jsut SCCA. still badass cars though.

If you like that, you should check out the Indy 500 car that almost won in 1968, but broke with jsut a handful of laps to go. they had that at Laguna Seca this year. it didnt run, but still a nasty piece of artwork.
and if you wanna hear an awsome car, listen to this, its a BRM H-16 1.5 litre supercharged. Dont let the title fool you, they werent V-16's thye were in an H configuration, the heads were a true work of art. http://youtube.com/watch?v=fZMPDCNyQxE
